Definition

Collection of summary and category statistics for an instance variable

Total number of responses, the weights in calculating the statistics, variable level summary statistics, and category statistics

Explanatory notes

Statistics at the data set are used as indicators during assessment of the appropriateness of using a some data for a particular purpose.

CDIF

Definition

Groups one or more Statistics nodes for an instance variable. A typical use is a dataset-level collection holding row-count / mean / stddev Statistics for each measured variable.

Scope

Named collection of Statistics / CategoryStatistics. cdif:isComposedOf lists the contents; cdif:indexedBy lists the InstanceVariables the collection is indexed by.
